Auto review: 2025 Suburban moves mountains for Chevrolet

As Chevrolet continues to dominate the American vehicle market, the 2025 Suburban shows up in Grasso’s Garage for the ultimate people-moving test drive.

We put the seven-seat Chevrolet Suburban High Country to the test on the roads of New England, and it was outstanding. Our tester's Radiant Red Tintcoat showed out beautifully, accented by a Jet Black and mocha interior. Powering the Suburban was the 6.2-liter ECOTEC3 V-8 engine, which offered just over 15 mpg on our nine-day test. Second-row captain chairs, deluxe panoramic sunroof, abundant LED lights and rear-seat entertainment were just a few of the notable standard features, while options included 24-inch wheels, trailer camera and air ride suspension. Let's not forget the 17.7-inch diagonal color LCD display with a stout, Google-supported infotainment system.

The Suburban continues to be popular as SUVs in general are becoming larger and more spacious. The Suburban has always set the standard for size and comfort, and it's been on top of its game over the last few years, building on its history of reliability and value.

With General Motors continuing to dominate the market in every category, it is evident that Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac fleets offer something for every consumer.
