Parker and Hart

The award-winning Wizard of Id was created by BC's Johnny Hart and illustrated by Brant Parker. The medieval comic strip debuted in 1964 and gained an instant fan following. Produced today by the families of Hart and Parker, it can be read in over 1,000 newspapers worldwide and more than 20 print collections. Written by Hart’s grandson, Mick Mastroianni, creator of Dogs of C-Kennel and illustrated by Parker’s son, Jeff Parker, the antics of the King, Wiz, Rodney, Bung and the rest of the citizens of Id are enjoyed daily by an international audience.
