Stephen Bentley
Stephen Bentley began as the artistic one in his family, and became cartoonist for his base newspapers during his time in the U.S. Navy in the 1970s. He majored in Art, English and Fire Science at Pasadena City Colleges, and went on to work as a professional artist for Wham-O Toys, Universal Studios, and many other clients. Bentley's current comic strip, "Herb and Jamaal," was inspired by his attendance at a high school reunion and subsequent reflections on life. Now, in addition to his comic, he is studying to be a deacon and working as a youth worker in the Episcopal Church.
