Chris Browne

Chris Browne helped his father Dik with gag writing for "Hagar the Horrible" since it began in 1973, and took over as writer and artist in 1988 upon Dik's retirement.

Browne's work extends beyond the famous comic to other venues, including the New Yorker, Heavy Metal, Esquire, and National Lampoon. His father's creation has appeared everywhere from commercials to theme parks, and even in the opening credits of "Caroline in the City."
