Darby Conley
Massachusetts-born illustrator Darby Conley knew from an early age that he wanted to be a cartoonist. After majoring in Fine
Arts and becoming a museum art director, he achieved his goal in 1999 with the launch of his comic strip "Get Fuzzy." The story of Bucky and Satchel, and their human Rob, is now being syndicated in 650 newspapers across the country, with a dozen compilation books in print.
Darby Conley was presented with a Reuben division award from the National Cartoonists Society, naming "Get Fuzzy" the best Newspaper Comic Strip of 2002. His work has earned him fans nationwide.
