Lynn Johnston

Lynn Johnston grew up in an Ontario Canada. She came from a family with musical and artistic talent. She attended the Vancouver School of Art and later worked in an animation studio. She became a medical illustrator at McMaster University. The head of the hospital encouraged her to draw cartoons for patients. Her books were noticed by Universal Press Syndicate (now Universal Uclick).

For Better or For Worse was launched in 1979 and has become one of the most popular comics of all time.
