Tony Cochran
"Agnes" creator Tony Cochran has been drawing all his life, on everything from bits of cardboard to classmates' arms. His attempts at turning professional once graduating from art school were unsuccessful at first. After struggling to get noticed, he moved away from painting and created the comic strip character we all know now as Agnes. With her arrival in newspapers, Cochran became a household name, and is now syndicated in newspapers nationwide. Agnes's imagination and determination have made her a beloved cartoon character almost overnight, and her popularity continues to grow.
