Bears are raising season ticket prices by an average of 10%

CHICAGO — In a letter to season ticket holders Wednesday, Chicago Bears President/CEO Kevin Warren announced increases in ticket prices for 2025 with an average hike of 10%.
The announcement comes a little more than a month after the Bears completed another last-place season, going 5-12 and tying a franchise record with a 10-game losing streak. In the wake of that failure, the Bears set a new direction last month by hiring Ben Johnson as their new coach.
Accounting for the price increases, Warren cited “market dynamics, industry trends and a strong home schedule.”
The 2025 home schedule includes the usual three NFC North games plus games against the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints. The Bears also will play two preseason games at Soldier Field in August with those opponents to be determined.
“While we did not reach our goals during the 2024 season, we are making clear, intentional and strategic decisions to ensure our 2025 season meets the expectations of both our organization and our fans,” Warren wrote in his letter. “Our focus will remain the same — we must perform well on the football field, continue to build a world-class business operation and break ground on a transformative stadium.”
Warren expressed particular enthusiasm for Johnson’s arrival.
“We are confident this decision will positively impact this franchise for many years,” Warren wrote. “Coach Johnson has assembled a first-class staff and together, they are determined to teach, coach and empower our football team. General manager Ryan Poles and Coach Johnson are building a strong and positive working relationship, setting the foundation for future success.”
What that success will look like remains to be seen. The Bears are more than 14 years removed from their last playoff victory and have enjoyed only one winning season in that span.
The quest to turn things around continues. This year, it will press forward with another hike in season ticket prices.
