Michael Ramirez
Michael Ramirez's first foray into editorial cartooning led to his college's student assembly demanding an apology when he made fun of candidates for student office. From there, his "hobby" as a journalist moved forward into a career as a cartoonist, and he won a Pulitzer Prize in 1994. In his time, his cartoons have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Memphis Commercial Appeal, and USA Today.
Now a senior editor and editorial cartoonist for Investor's Business Daily, Ramirez also went on to win another Pulitzer in 2008. His varior honors also include the 2008 Fischetti Award, the UCI Medal, an award from the Society of Professional Journalism, and many others.
