David M. Hitch

David M. Hitch has been the conservative voice for the Omaha World-Herald, The Worcester Telegram & Gazette, and The Worcester Sun in a cartooning career that has spanned over three decades.

As a junior in high school in Omaha, Nebraska, Hitch won the prestigious Hallmark Nomination, along with a Scholastics National Gold Medal in Art, and also won recognition for his work in political cartooning, architectural design and writing. While in college at The University of Nebraska at Omaha, and beyond, he was honored with The National Newspaper Association's “Best Original Cartoon” Award, as well as several Sigma Delta Chi and New England Associated Press Awards for illustration and editorial cartooning.
