Darrin Bell

Cartoonist Darrin Bell began his career at the age of 20, drawing biweekly cartoons for the LA Times. He drew editorial cartoons for the Daily Californian while studying political science at UC Berkeley, where he won multiple awards as well as being a runner-up for both the Charles M. Schulz Award and Locher Award. He was noticed by the nation at large, however, when Muslim students protested his controversial 9-11 comic.

Now Darrin Bell stays busy, balancing his editorial cartoons with two syndicated strips, "Candorville" and "Rudy Park." He also works as a storyboard artist.
