'THE ACCOUNTANT 2'

Rated R for strong violence, and language throughout.

What it’s about: The sequel to the 2016 film about an autistic accountant who serves dangerous clients sees the protagonist team up with the feds and his assassin brother to target human traffickers.

The kid attractor factor: This is an adult action thriller — not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Aside from the lesson that neurodivergent people can do most anything and are gifted in their own ways, there are lessons about justice, protecting the vulnerable and repairing family relationships.

Violence: Some extreme bloody violence — shootings, beatings, explosions. Violence threatened against children.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: References to sex trafficking and sex work.

Drugs: References to drugs.

Parents’ advisory: Too violent for kids. OK for mature teens.
