NEW YORK — Lightning strikes twice for Nikki Glaser, who has been tapped to return as the host of the Golden Globes in 2026.

The announcement was made during Thursday’s broadcast of “CBS Mornings.”

The 83rd annual Golden Globes are set to take place in January 2026 and air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

In January, the comedian made history at the 2025 Globes when she became the first woman to ever serve as a solo host.

“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,” Glaser said in a statement. “I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from ‘The White Lotus’ who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”

Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne said the 40-year-old funnywoman “brought a refreshing spark and fearless wit” to the stage.

“Her sharp humor and bold presence set the tone for an unforgettable night, making the ceremony feel vibrant and most of all fun,” she added.

A 20-year-plus comedy veteran, Glaser rose to prominence for her roasting skills — wowing audiences with her scorching jokes during star-studded roasts of Rob Lowe, Bruce Willis and Tom Brady, most notably.
