Gisele Bündchen has given fans a rare glimpse of her growing baby bump.

The 44-year-old supermodel is expecting her third child - and her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente - after having son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, with her ex-husband Tom Brady, and even though she has spent months being private about the upcoming arrival, she has now revealed how her stomach is looking in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Sharing a video on Instagram of herself walking along the beach that included a moment where she cradled her bump, she said "Happiness is an inside job. Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live."

Gisele's video shows her strolling along the sand in a bikini and leopard-print skirt, cradling her bump as she posed against a stunning sunset.

She was also photographed in November walking hand-in-hand with her boyfriend on a beach in Costa Rica.

At that time, she wore a white crochet cover-up over a dark bikini, with her baby bump visible as she enjoyed the company of her partner.

According to an insider, Gisele is now more comfortable with her pregnancy being public, having received positive messages and congratulations.

People quoted an insider who said: "She wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, but doing so was starting to be a challenge."

The source also revealed Gisele feels "good" and has continued her wellness practices, including Pilates and other exercises that may assist her during labor.

They went on: "She has always taken amazing care of herself - she eats healthy and meditates as well."

Her post comes as her ex Tom tries to carve out a career for himself as an NFL broadcaster, with some reports saying he was blindsided by the news she was pregnant with martial arts instructor Joaquím's child.
