The return of a Spider-Man supervillain tops the DVD releases for the week of Jan. 21.

"Venom: The Last Dance": Tom Hardy is back for a third spin on the dance floor as journalist Eddie Brock and his sassy symbiote sidekick battle other aliens at Area 51. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple and Rhys Ifans co-star.

"You’re either on Venom’s wavelength or you’re not. If you are, you’re not alone, because as it turns out, a lot of folks are," writes Tribune News Service critic Katie Walsh in her review. "The third installment, 'Venom: The Last Dance,' rounds out the trio of films, which are both straight-faced and irreverent, creating a campy tone all their own, distinct from the more self-serious superheroes, or the sarcastically self-referential ones."
