Alexis Bellino has quit 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'.
The 47-year-old made her first appearance in season four of the hit Bravo series and left after season eight before she made a guest appearance in a friend-of role for season 17 after a 10-year absence.
However, Alexis has now revealed she was not asked to come back for series 19 - with filming reportedly kicking off in January - and it did not shock her.
While guest presenting the 'Going Rogue' podcast, she revealed: "I was not asked back next season.
"I can't say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock.
"It was a hard conversation … I guess I wasn't really prepared [because] I didn't think contracts were coming out -- like, I thought we had more time … [So] it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information."
However, her absence from the upcoming episodes was a "little bit of relief".
Alexis added: "It was a little bit of a relief.
"I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you're not asked back. But it already happened to me. It happened to me in season eight.
"I've been there, done that!"
Many of the show's fans turned on her following her feud with long-standing housewife Shannon Storms Beador, 60.
The blonde beauty is currently engaged to the 60-year-old star's ex-boyfriend John Janssen.
She also questioned herself about how she would fit in given the tension between Shannon and the other housewives.
Alexis said: "I still thought there might be a way they can make it work for everybody to come back. But you know, the cards played the way they did.
"How do they bring someone back who is not a fan favorite vs. the fan favorite?
"And I get that."
