NEW YORK — A protective order has been issued against “Boardwalk Empire” star Michael Pitt, after he was arrested Friday for allegedly sexually abusing his ex-girlfriend at the Brooklyn home they previously shared.

A Kings County Supreme Court judge ordered a full no-contact order of protection for a year against the 44-year-old “Funny Games” actor, the Daily News has confirmed.

TMZ was first to report the order, which prohibits Pitt from going near the woman’s home or work — as well as other locations she visits — as well as attempting to contact her in any way, shape or form.

Pitt was arrested on Friday for sexual abuse in the first degree, criminal sexual act in the first and third degree, assault in the second degree, attempted assault in the second degree and strangulation in the second degree, according to an indictment viewed by the Daily News.

The arrest pertains to alleged domestic incidents at the exes’ Bushwick home between April 2020 and August 2021, including forced “sexual contact” and injuring the alleged victim “by means of a dangerous instrument, namely: a four-by-four.”

A year later, Pitt allegedly used a cinder block to attack the unnamed woman.

Pitt was released from custody after posting $100,000 bail. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.

“Unfortunately, we live in a world where somebody like Mr. Pitt — an accomplished professional who would never so much as contemplate these crimes — can be arrested on the uncorroborated word of an unhinged individual,” Pitt’s lawyer, Jason Goldman, said in a statement to the Daily News.

“In reality, this baseless claim is suspiciously raised some four or five years after the alleged incident, at a time when the two parties were in a completely consensual and voluntary relationship,” added Goldman, who maintains the “case will be dismissed.”

Pitt’s next court appearance is set for June 17.
