A 51-year-old Lansing, Illinois, man was identified as one of the workers fatally wounded Tuesday afternoon at Chicago’s Navy Pier, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Lamont Johnson, of the 18300 block of Glen Oak Avenue, was fatally wounded in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue Tuesday, officials at the medical examiner’s office reported Wednesday morning. The other victim has yet to be officially identified.

The gunman, thought to have been terminated Oct. 14, had sought out two employees around 1:20 p.m. in a loading dock and nearby administrative office at the far end of the pier and fired multiple shots.

As of Wednesday morning, the gunman was still at large. Police said the fatal shootings appear to be an isolated incident.
